Power: stock vs tuned

Power at full load. The GPUs are undervolted; the CPU runs at stock. “Limit” is the cap that was set, until a full-load reading replaces it.

Energy per day vs solar

used (kWh)solar production (kWh)
0123402/10

Price €0.26/kWh. CO₂ at ≈ 0.27 kg/kWh (average Dutch grid). Solar is calculated every 15 minutes from live weather (sunlight on the panels and air temperature) for 4 × 400 Wp panels — a close estimate, not a meter reading. “Ran on sunshine” counts only the power the panels made at the same moment the PC used it. A typical year gives ≈ 1,400 kWh of solar vs ≈ 2,242 kWh used by the PC (€583). Savings compare the GPUs' measured draw under full load with their stock power limits.

🌱 Help the environment yourself

Running a computer day and night uses real energy. Besides undervolting and solar panels, I offset my own footprint with Wren, which funds projects like tree planting, rainforest protection and carbon removal. It takes a few minutes to start and you can see where your money goes.
